Solus 8040 80mm 40" Telescope The Solus 8040 refractor telescope is handcrafted solid brass and teak. A daytime terrestrial telescope and for celestial observation. Superb polished brass telescope features a brass dust cover, red copper arc mount with azimuth and altitude locks, twist focussing and a clear, non-inverted view. It has a precision made, fully coated achromatic 80mm objective lens. The eyepiece is a 25mm solid brass Plossi giving a magnification of x40. The extendable tripod legs are made of teak and furnished with brass. Outstanding piece of engineering!
